A downloadable game for Windows

One of my assignments at FIEA was to implement three interactions either on a pre-existing project or a new one.

I decided to make my first Unreal Blueprints game by replicating an Endless Runner.

What I focused on was the character controller's responsiveness and feedback. Implementing a fully responsive control scheme that allows you to move whenever you want and respond to it immediately in a satisfying way was more challenging than I thought, but it definitely showed me the importance of designing a game with this in mind.

This can be seen on the video when I move around the level, jump, and crouch consecutively, allowing me to make precise movements to maneuver the environment according to my reaction time, so it doesn't feel like the player is being held back by the game itself.

You need to let the player do what they want to do. Do not restrict their movements or else it will feel unfair and unresponsive.
